Our problem with problems

Hey guys, really good to see you around here.I do not want to say i was passing by cos this is suppose to be my house (lol).I need to start coming around more often so as to put my house in order!I was having a group discussion with my friends about two days back that later culminated into an argument and i wish to comment on it here.

The argument later headed in the direction of Nigeria and how corruption and corrupt leaders are having a field day.I need to make it clear here that i personally do not love arguing cos it saps out my energy but i have also come to terms with the fact that it might really be an opportunity to get someone inspired; So instead of shying away from it.I go into it not to win but to add value to myself and others.

I didn't disagree completely with all they said but my "grouse" with them was why they think it was the Government that should be blamed for the situation of Nigeria. The media is saying the same thing, the "okada" riders and traders are singing the same song, move close to a newspaper stand in the morning and you hear different "de-motivating speeches" about Nigeria and her leaders from the "masses".Turn on your TV set and you'll see a lot of "political and economic analyst" making so much noise about why the Government has failed them. What this simply tells me is that any idiot can analyze a problem but it takes so much wisdom to solve problems.

We need to begin to see our "problems" as an opportunity to shine. We also need to begin to learn that a problem is a problem because it has a solution. For example, the rising and setting of the sun cannot be termed a problem cos it just must happen and we have learnt how to live with it.

We all need to begin to live our lives and make it count for something.Nigeria's story can be likened to that of the biblical prodigal son, i'm so sure you can still remember that the guy was later celebrated.

The truth is that we all face challenges everyday of our lives, how we see it and handle it will determine our ultimate result. I will not change the words of my mouth no matter what...Nigeria is a blessed land flowing with milk and honey. The opportunities are increasing by the day.Our main problem with problem is that we do not understand that it is an opportunity to prove ourselves.Until i come around again, always aspire to STAY INSPIRED!
